VALD SmartSpeed Lasers

VALD SmartSpeed is the same laser timing technology used at the NFL Combine, major college programs, and professional development facilities. It delivers precise, gate-to-gate timing for the 10-yard and 40-yard dash, eliminating the human reaction-time error of handheld stopwatches.

Speed is a tool. To develop it, you have to measure it precisely. VALD SmartSpeed gives us a reliable baseline and tracks your improvement over time with data you can trust.

Hittrax

Hittrax is a batted-ball tracking system that captures exit velocity, launch angle, distance, and spray chart data on every swing. It turns what was once subjective, 'that felt good', into objective data that drives program adjustments.

Feeling like you hit the ball hard and actually hitting it hard are different things. Hittrax tells us the truth and gives us numbers to build toward.

HackAttack Pitching Machine

The HackAttack is a high-quality, programmable pitching machine capable of replicating game-speed pitching with consistent, reliable delivery. It allows for high-volume, high-quality reps that prepare hitters for real competition timing, then live-arm BP closes every session.

Hitters get better by seeing a lot of good pitches. The HackAttack provides consistent, game-relevant reps that tee machines can't match, followed by live-arm BP to finish with real-world timing.

Every athlete at UpperDeck starts with a comprehensive assessment before any training begins.

S&C Assessment

  • Vertical jump measurement
  • Broad jump measurement
  • Medicine ball throw velocity (rotational power)

Hitting Assessment

  • Swing analysis, movement strengths and deficiencies
