What is the difference between S&C and Hitting Development?

Strength & Conditioning focuses on physical tools, speed, power, and athleticism, measured by VALD SmartSpeed Lasers, jump testing, and medicine ball velocity. Hitting Development focuses on swing mechanics and outputs tracked through Hittrax, combined with approach and mindset development. Many athletes train in both.

Can I do both programs at the same time?

Yes, and many athletes do. S&C and Hitting Development are complementary, physical tools and hitting skills develop together. We will help you find the right schedule and frequency based on your availability and goals.

What technology do you use?

VALD SmartSpeed Lasers for speed assessment (10-yard and 40-yard dash), Hittrax for batted-ball data (exit velocity, launch angle, distance), and the HackAttack pitching machine for high-quality hitting reps. Technology is how we measure what matters.

How many athletes are in each session?

S&C sessions run in groups of 1-5 athletes. Hitting sessions run in groups of 1-3. Small groups are intentional, they allow for quality coaching while building the peer accountability and competitive culture that drives development.
